Sealant firm makes five appointments as part of ambitious growth strategy

A Wales-based sealant specialist has made a series of appointments as part of its plans for expansion, following a period of significant growth.

S&D Sealants, which operates UK-wide, has experienced an increased demand for its services in the last year, enabling them to make a number of appointments.

Hannah Wigley, 25 and Elle Bright, 23 have both been hired as sales coordinators, while Beatriz Calde, 36, has been hired as an estimator.

Joe Cooper-Gray, 23, will work in the company’scredit control department, while Brad Lewis, 22, has been hired as a trainee contracts manager.

The new recruits will all be based in the company’s Chepstow office and will play an important role in the company’s future plans.

All five appointments were made possible, in part, thanks to a grant from the Welsh Government.

Nick Jones, Managing Director of S&D Sealants, said: “It’s an exciting time for us here at S&D; the steady increase in demand for our services has enabled us to further expand our team.

“The growth that we have experienced in the last year is very encouraging and we’re looking forward to welcoming our new recruits to the company”.

The company is also looking to recruit a further 10 people as applicators and cosmetic repairers.

With a network of offices across the UK, S&D offers true national coverage by using a group of local sealant operatives to carry out specific projects. Their UK office expansion includes bases in Exeter, Wakefield, Fareham, Warrington, Bristol and Romford.

S&D regularly works with a wide variety of well-known construction companies including BAM, Balfour Beatty, Willmott Dixon, Mace, Sir Robert McAlpine and Morgan Sindall.
