Bath-based Media Safari shortlisted for two CIPR Awards

Media Safari, an established tech PR and social media agency based in Bath, has been shortlisted for two awards at the 2014 Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) PRide Awards. This is the fourth consecutive year that the agency has received industry recognition from the CIPR.

Media Safari’s dedicated campaigns with antivirus solutions provider Bitdefender and innovative technology firm Human Recognition Systems will both be considered for the ‘Best Technology Campaign’ at the South of England and Channel Islands awards. This category looks to recognise a successful public relations campaign undertaken by a company operating in the technology sector and considers strategy and tactics, implementation, measurement, planning and cost effectiveness.

“Recognition from the CIPR for these two distinct campaigns for Bitdefender and Human Recognition Systems demonstrates the value that our proactive PR activity has delivered to both organisations. Our ongoing commitment to exploring communication focuses on continually enhancing activity for our tech PR clients by responding to the latest industry trends,” comments Matt King, Managing Director of Media Safari. “It is an honour to have been shortlisted twice in this highly-competitive category, particularly as this year marks the first year that the PRide awards have been extended beyond the South West to now cover the whole of the South of England. We look forward to learning the judges’ decision.”

The CIPR PRide Awards is the only UK-wide awards scheme that recognises excellence in public relations and communications. Now in its 11th year, the CIPR PRide Awards grow year-on-year as consultancies and organisations increasingly recognise the benefits of awards from the PR profession’s only chartered body. The award winners will be announced in November 2014.
