New Chartered Surveyors practice HRB continues recent success with two acquisitions

New Cardiff based Chartered Surveyors practice HRB has recently acquired a new Pontypridd office for TBG Learning, one of the UK’s leading providers of youth and adult learning.

Established in 1986, TBG Learning is a wholly owned subsidiary of Rehab Group, an Irish independent, not-for-profit organisation. Throughout its history TBG Learning has focused upon meeting the needs of disadvantaged people and has contributed to a whole range of programmes designed to reduce unemployment in the UK.

The employability and training opportunities TBG Learning offers are focused upon the needs of socially disadvantaged groups in the communities they serve, particularly long-term unemployed people with multiple barriers to employment.

Annually TBG Learning helps over 30,000 participants in the UK progress into employment or further learning, and their new Pontypridd location marks the arrival of their second Welsh centre, the first of which opened in Swansea earlier this year.

Speaking about the acquisition, Henry Best, Managing Director of HRB commented, “The 1,000 sq.ft. office is located at the Railway Station in the heart of Pontypridd. The office is situated in a perfect position to serve the Pontypridd area and wider valleys community”.

In a second deal HRB has acted on behalf of a pension fund in the purchase of a prime roadside development site on Hadfield Road in Cardiff.

Henry Best commented “this strategic freehold site offers frontage and excellent scope for redevelopment and alternative uses.”
