Award-winning estate agents Herbert R Thomas (HRT) has announced plans to open a new office in Bridgend following increased demand for its services within the area.
Led by partners Andrew Thomas, Philip Thomas, Robert Calcaterra and Gavin Rees, the company has taken on 1500 sq ft of office space on the ground floor of the Toll House, a three storey, grade two listed building within the heart of the town centre.
This will be the third office for HRT, which already has offices in Cowbridge and Neath.
Founded in 1926, Herbert R Thomas is a multi-discipline property agency specialising in residential sales and lettings, commercial property transactions, property development, auctions and agricultural services. The company continually insists on the highest standards of customer care across all departments, to offer an unrivalled service to its customers.
HRT’s new office is part of the Elder Mews regeneration scheme, a mixed use development project within Bridgend town centre, led by HD Limited. As part of the regeneration project, HD Limited has transformed the Toll House to create state-of-the-art office suites.

As part of the expansion, HRT is looking to recruit new members of staff including a receptionist, administrator and various other positions to run the office and ensure customers receive the high standard of service HRT is known for.
