Young talent promoted at FG Burnett

Scottish commercial property specialist, FG Burnett, has demonstrated its commitment to developing young talent with a number of promotions

Ross Sinclair has been promoted to Director in recognition of his success in developing the company’s presence in the industrial sales, letting, asset management and development sectors in Scotland’s Central Belt region.

Based in FG Burnett’s Glasgow office, Ross has been instrumental in extending the company’s industrial stock level which has increased from approximately 500,000 sq ft to 2 million sq ft since his arrival in 2011. This has been achieved through the addition of several new key clients including Buccleuch Property, Credential, Hansteen, M7, and MEPC.

This increase has allowed the company to significantly enhance its standing within the Scottish industrial sector as evidenced in CoStar’s recent league tables when FG Burnett was placed in the Top 5 for deals done and industrial stock level held.

FG Burnett managing director, Angus MacCuish, said: “Ross has done an exceptional job in winning a number of high profile instructions in the industrial sector and has built up a very good stock level, which has enhanced our position in the Glasgow commercial property market.”

Other promotions in the Aberdeen office include building surveyor Stuart Fyvie who is now Associate, Sara Mathieson who steps up to Senior Surveyor, and Sylvia Clement who takes on the role of Office Manager.

Mr MacCuish added: “Our business is constantly evolving and our challenge is to create a meaningful career path for staff which encourages them to reach their full potential. These promotions emphasis our commitment to nurturing, mentoring and supporting talented individuals at FG Burnett.”
