EBS celebrates 21-years at Nottingham Contemporary

Nottingham firm EBS Accountants celebrated its 21st anniversary year with clients, business contacts and colleagues at Nottingham Contemporary.

Speaking at the party, founder and managing director of EBS, Jill Evenden, said: “When I launched EBS 21 years ago I must admit I felt a little scared, but in reality I haven’t ever looked back.

“I am very proud of EBS, which has grown to become an established and respected firm in Nottingham, with many longstanding and loyal clients. I love that we have always been based in Nottingham, and being on Barker Gate in the Lace Market feels very much that we are part of a community.

“We also have a fantastic, committed and experienced team, who work closely with all our clients, getting under the skin of their business to ensure EBS supports them as the business evolves.”

Announced on the night was Jill’s recent appointment as Trustee and Treasurer of Home-Start Nottingham, the charity dedicated to providing in-home, confidential support, friendship and practical help to local families.

A raffle in aid of the charity, with all prizes donated by local businesses, raised £350 on the night.

Sue Fenton, Scheme Manager for Home-Start Nottingham was a guest at the party and said: “EBS’ 21st birthday party was most enjoyable and I was surprised and delighted at the generosity of guests and the total funds raised. This type of support is vital for the charity as without fundraising, it wouldn’t be able to support families and their children across Nottingham.”

Guests were entertained with music from DJ Rich Clarke, an EBS client, and live music from Nottingham group Ruby Sky.

EBS is based on Nottingham’s Barker Gate and provides a dedicated accountancy service to SMEs and owner-managed businesses.
