New Director brought in as key appointment at Cooke & Arkwright

A new Director has been recruited to join Cooke & Arkwright’s Board as part of the firm’s growth and expansion strategy to develop its business for the future. Nick Lawley joins the firm from DTZ’s London office, where he worked for 12 years and was a director in the investment agency department. This key appointment will see him focussing initially on Investment Agency and Business Development and a major part of his role will be to maintain an active presence within the London market.

“The uplift in activity in regional markets makes it an exciting time for me to be moving to Cardiff,” said Nick. “I chose Cooke & Arkwright as it has a strong reputation and delivers the highest level of service to clients. I will be very active in London and will continue to nurture and maintain long lasting relationships with my contacts there to provide a bridge for them to do business in the Principality.”

Joint Chairman Roger Thomas commented, “We are pleased to welcome Nick to the firm. I have always held the personal view that experience in the London property market stands any surveyor in good stead. The contacts made and the exposure to a wide range of property interests of all kinds is invaluable.”

Andrew Gardner, Managing Director of the firm said that it was very rare to take on a new Director. “This strategic addition to the Board is a tactical development that will help deliver our vision of a wider reach for the firm. Nick’s expertise and experience in the Capital will prove invaluable as we progress our plans for the future and we are delighted to welcome him to our team.”
