Howells Solicitors won the Bronze Award in the Best Large Conveyancer category of the UK’s Estate Agency of the Year 2013 competition.
The conveyancing departments in all of the south Wales law firms’ five offices have been recognised as being amongst the best in the whole of the UK at the Estate Agents equivalent of the Oscar’s hosted at The Lancaster Hotel in London.
Beating off stiff competition from across the country, the judging panel praised Howells for their ongoing staff training programmes, investment in new software to speed up the conveyancing process, their relationships with new housebuilders and overall customer service.
Mark Hobbs, managing partner at Howells Solicitors, is delighted with the award. He said, “When we entered the Awards we weren’t sure as to how successful we would be. Competitors from across the country entered the large conveyancer category of the Awards so we were very pleased to be short listed. The judging process involved mystery shoppers, interviews with customers and staff, and reviews of internal departmental processes and structure. To win the Bronze Award is fantastic and a testament to the dedication and hard work of our teams.”
To celebrate their win and provide some festive cheer for new home buyers, Howells have launched a competition offering their services free of charge to one new home buyer and reduced fees for all other entrants.
