Mobile Solutions move into Upper Parliament Street

Acting on behalf of Scottish Widows, Alan Pearson, Associate Director of FHP Property Consultants, has let 23 Upper Parliament Street to Mobile Solutions. The accessories and mobile phone repair shop have taken a new ten year lease at a commencing rent of £24,000 per annum exclusive. The unit comprises of ground floor sales of 407 ft² and basement store of 295 ft².

Mobile Solutions are a London based mobile phone accessories and repair shop who have sought to expand into the Midlands for some time and have secured their first outlet in Nottingham. The store is situated adjacent to the new Tesco Express store which is scheduled to open in Spring 2014 following completion of the development works by Scottish Widows.

Alan Pearson of FHP commented:

“I am delighted to have secured another letting within the block for Scottish Widows. There was a considerable amount of interest in this unit with three offers received at the asking rent which enabled us to conclude a deal swiftly for our clients, with completion taking place within four weeks.

There has been considerable interest in Upper Parliament Street, King Street and Queen Street recently and we have put both 18 King Street, the former Jonathan James unit and 15 Queen Street, the former Bank of Scotland unit under offer to national operators and expect to do the same with the former Jack Wills unit on Queen Street imminently. This follows recent letting by FHP of 22 King Street to Barburitto, 4 King Street to Nottingham Express Transit and 6 King Street to Posh Nails”.

There are few high street opportunities currently available in Nottingham which is a very positive news story for the city.
