Online business news publisher is on the move

A Worcestershire-based online publisher of global business information with over 375,000 visitors per month is moving its operations to a new headquarters after buying modern offices in Bromsgrove.

Aroq Limited has acquired the freehold of Delta House, at Harris Business Park, Stoke Prior, for £425,000.

The company’s team of journalists, researchers and executives provide accurate and up-to-the-minute global business information for thousands of busy executives, via four industry specific websites on automotive, food, drinks and apparel.

Acting on behalf of a private vendor, Worcestershire commercial property consultancies Halls Wilkins Commercial and GJS Dillon LLP sold the 4,812 sq ft premises to Aroq, who were advised by Nick Ford of Bulleys.

Delta House is a purpose-built, two-storey business premises with office and storage accommodation, as well as on site car parking and additional external storage.

The move follows Aroq’s appointment of five new employees in product development, sales and marketing since the start of 2013 in response to increased market demand.

Michael Gove, chief operating officer at Aroq said “Demand for authoritative business information, news and insight continues to grow. This move to larger premises reflects the expansion in our business over the last 12 months – and our plans for further growth.

“The teams at GJS Dillon, Halls Wilkins Commercial and Nick at Bulleys made the purchase process straightforward, allowing us to concentrate on serving our clients better.”

Rob Champion, partner of Halls Wilkins Commercial, said: “We are experiencing strengthening demand in this region for good quality accommodation such as Delta House as confidence starts to build in the market. Delta House is a high quality building on a well-established business park and we are delighted to have secured a sale to Aroq Limited who have made the decision to remain in the Bromsgrove area which is a strong endorsement of the area as a place to operate a business.”

John Dillon, partner at GJS Dillon, said: “Demand for smaller office and Industrial warehouse units remains particularly strong in Bromsgrove and the surrounding Worcestershire towns at present, so premises such as Delta House continue to sell well and speedily at prices which are a lot lower than in the Birmingham conurbation.

“They are sought after by local, regional and national occupiers as a result of their good value and due to the easy access to the M42 and M5 and to a skilled and flexible workforce.”
