Cwmbran Shopping has appointed a new events co-ordinator to manage its programme of public events.
Swansea University graduate Michael Bell brings a wealth of experience in events management in both the television and retail sectors.
The 23-year-old joins the shopping centre following starring role in the BBC Three show The Insider. In the reality television programme, Michael was pitted against four other events co-ordinators in a series of challenges.
Originally from Ystrad Mynach, Michael will be responsible for all of the centre’s public events and is currently co-ordinating preparations for the Christmas light switch on.
He said: “After appearing on the programme, I was offered work in London, but Cwmbran Shopping have given me an opportunity to do a job I love, near my hometown.
“I am really enjoying my role, and I am looking forward the challenges and opportunities it will present. It’s a true testament to the team that they have made me feel so welcome.”
