Hat trick of deals for Petty Commercial

Petty Commercial has secured a hat trick of deals for three key developments across East Lancashire.

The largest of the deals sees12,820sq ft of industrial space at Millennium Works on Lomeshaye Industrial estate in Nelson let to Allscope Projects to facilitate their continued growth and development of their business.

ACDC, a globally recognised LED lighting company which also operates from London and Dubai has bolstered its head office space in Nelson by moving into 8,375sq ft of premier space at Vantage Court in Barrowford.

The third of the trio of deals was with a national investor who has taken full ownership of a former car showroom comprising 8,000 sq ft on Network 65 in Burnley.

Brent Forbes, Director at Petty’s Estate Agents said: “In times of uncertain austerity, it is a welcome reassurance that businesses such as ACDC and Allscope Projects continue to defy the trend often reported and are investing in the continued growth of their businesses. Manufacturing is rife in East Lancashire with Burnley itself recording a 3.5% growth versus the national average of 1% which actually means that Burnley witnessed the second biggest growth across the UK compared to other towns and cities.

“The recent investment by firms such as ACDC and Allscope Projects as well as investment into the region’s infrastructure has certainly boosted the local economy as well as confidence. The fact that Burnley is acknowledged as being the best for manufacturing is testament to the calibre and skill set we boast in the region and I am confident the area is primed for a buoyant future.”
