Emma Watkins, Director of CBI Wales is pleased to announce that Chris Sutton of Jones Lang LaSalle is to be the next Chair of CBI Wales, taking over from Graham Edwards of Wales & West Utilities.
Chris, who was elected to the CBI Wales Council in 2008, was invited by the CBI President to be the next Chair and his term of office will run for two years from January 2014. In the interim, Chris will be Vice Chair, taking over from Scott Waddington.

“Emma Watkins and the CBI Wales office have established the strongest business voice in Wales. I am looking forward to working with the team and, indeed the entire Welsh CBI Council, to build upon the already strong links with all levels of government.
Year on year, both the UK and Welsh economies show real signs of improvement however there are clear opportunities to further incentivise business investment from CBI members in Wales. I also look forward to continuing to engage with Welsh Government on emerging initiatives connected to the built environment in Wales including the on-going programme of planning reform and proposed devolution of property taxes.”
