Nine Group agrees a headquarters pre-let at Stonehouse Park, Gloucestershire

Nine Group, which provides voice and data communication products and services, has agreed lease terms with the developer for a new 12,000 sq ft flagship headquarters building on a plot located adjacent to its current offices in Unit 602. The company, established in 2001, has been based in the 5,700 sq ft office building since 2009.

The new building will become the flagship headquarters for Nine Group, following a long period of substantial growth and will house customer facing operations and IT development for the business.

Helen Chamberlain, HR Director for Nine Group said: “Strong client demand, increased revenue and investment in systems and expertise have enabled us to significantly expand our base at Stonehouse Park. Our new headquarters will provide the business with a strong platform for further growth and our staff with a prestigious office in which to work. 2014 will see us begin an earnest recruitment programme to ensure we continue to develop our business and offer the industry leading levels of service which have become our hallmark.”

John Hawkins of Alder King said: “This is a significant deal, the first office pre-let that we’ve seen in Gloucestershire for some time and is an encouraging sign of an improvement in the offices market. It is also a very strong vote of confidence in Stonehouse Park that Nine Group is committing further investment in the Park.”

Nine Group has agreed a new 15 year lease on Building 900, with the option to purchase the freehold within the first five years of occupation. Alder King acted on behalf of Robert Hitchins Ltd. Nine Group was unrepresented.
