Accountancy and business advisory firm BDO LLP has recently been appointed as new auditor for the AM Awards in July.
The AM Awards are dedicated to acknowledging exemplary performance and innovation in the automotive industry.
BDO has taken over from MSX International which fulfilled the role for five years.
Lead partner at BDO Southampton, Malcolm Thixton who also heads motor retail for the firm nationally said: “We are delighted to be appointed as auditor of the AM Awards. The awards ceremony will be held in February. A number of the categories are audited and will require on-site visits by BDO which will be looking into the managerial and financial performance of the business, as well as the culture. Its reports will form an integral part of judging.
