Sheffield’s newest trade counter destination already 50% occupied

savile-business-park-trade-On behalf of local developers Primesite UK, Lambert Smith Hampton and Eaton Commercial have been appointed to market two extensively refurbished Trade Counter business units now available to rent on Savile Business Park, Attercliffe Road in Sheffield.

Explains Rob Darrington, Associate Director – Business Space, with Lambert Smith Hampton: “After a superb refurbishment programme completed late last year, these units provide a unique opportunity for a national or regional trade counter business to trade right alongside automotive giant, Halfords Autocentres.

“Halfords opened their Autocentre on the business park last year following their acquisition of Nationwide Autocentres for £73.2 million back in 2010; since then the outlet has attracted significant footfall. Global component manufacturer and copier / printer brand, Kyocera, also has a unit on the site so any business relocating or expanding to these units will be in good company.”

With excellent transport links, the units are located on one of the main arterial routes from Junction 34 of the M1 at Meadowhall and just a mile from the city centre. The area is also one of the main motor trade locations in Sheffield; nearby occupiers include Just Car Clinic, Guy Salmon Land Rover, Sytner Mini, Lookers Ford, Harratts Volvo and Nissan and Pentagon Vauxhall.

Continues Rob: “With generous customer parking and HGV access, the location has already proved very popular with only two units remaining. Savile Street has recently re-established itself as a trade destination and gateway to the city with the opening of the new Tesco Extra and improvements to the Wicker and ring road.

“There is now a window of opportunity for any occupier to take advantage of the remaining units at Savile Business Park. The units could also be combined to provide a total of 715.9m² for potential occupants.”
