Logistics and industrial property business VGP launches second UK site in Sheffield

VGP, pan-European owner, manager and developer of high-quality logistics and industrial real estate, has unveiled its second new site in the UK.

VGP Park Sheffield is based on a brownfield regeneration site to the east of the city centre, near the A361 and junction 34 of the M1, and has a total footprint of over 265,000 sq ft (24,620 sq m).

The new Sheffield site is strategically located only four miles from the city centre and 1.5 miles from junction 34 of the M1, 42 miles from Manchester Airport and 49 miles from East Midlands Airport.

VGP Park Sheffield will provide around 265,000 sq ft (24,620 sqm) of warehouse and office space. Like all VGP Parks, it will be built to achieve BREEAM “Excellent” sustainability standard and will be attractive for a range of industrial and warehouse tenants. The park should be complete in Q1 2027.

The launch follows VGP’s announcement of its first UK site, VGP Park East Midlands, located beside junction 24a of the M1 and the A50, providing direct access to the UK’s key logistics corridor.

VGP Park East Midlands offers units ranging in size from 95,000 sq ft (8,825 sq m) up to tailor-made solutions for large logistics operations and is suitable for logistics services and commercial activities. It will be constructed to sustainability standard BREEAM Outstanding, with a roof equipped with a solar panel installation, offering the possibility of on-site green energy production.

VGP’s recent entry into the UK market is set to create new opportunities for businesses seeking high-quality logistics and industrial spaces at prime locations, enabled by its in-house technical expertise, with more than 60% of its employees being engineers, and by its integrated business model from land acquisition to property management.
