Eddisons has been appointed as joint agent with Tydus to market a significant 350,000 sq ft extension to Eagle Business Park in Yaxley, Peterborough. The development is being undertaken by Barnack Estates UK Ltd with work set to commence next spring (2026).
Planning consent has been granted for a 40-acre extension which will provide flexible development parcels ranging from 0.5 acres upwards. The masterplan accommodates buildings from 5,000 sq ft to 100,000 sq ft and designed to meet the needs of expanding businesses across the light industrial, trade counter and mixed-use sectors.
Since breaking ground on a virgin site in 2008, Eagle Business Park and its neighbouring developments – Discovery Business Park and Enterprise Park – have established the south side of Peterborough as a key commercial location in the A1(M) transport corridor.
These three combined developments have delivered more than 500,000 sq ft of new space over the past 15 years and are now home to over 240 companies.
Gavin Hynes, Regional Managing Director, will lead Eddisons’ agency at the Eagle Business Park extension from the firm’s Peterborough office.
Announcing the appointment of Eddisons as joint agent, he said, “Eagle Business Park has become a destination in its own right in offering an established trading location where businesses can co-locate and benefit from a thriving commercial community.”
