Real Estate Investors plc (REI) has announced a major letting in Leicester city centre.
The Birmingham-based, Midlands-focus investor has let the entire top floor at Peat House, 1 Waterloo Way, Leicester, to Fairfield School of Business (FSB).
Fairfield School of Business already has a significant presence in Leicester with offices at 1B, St Georges Way, and the signing of a 15 year lease on the 10,750 sq ft at Peat House demonstrates FSB’s commitment to the city.
FSB provides higher education courses in locations including Leicester, Birmingham, Croydon, Luton and Sheffield.
Ian Clark, director of asset management at REI, said: “We are delighted to add FSB to the list of quality tenants already at Peat House and we now have a fully let building again.”
REI plc acquired Peat House in 2011 and has continually added value through proactive asset management.
Tenants include Innes England, The Trustees of Association of School and College Leaders, Bellrock FM and Charles Alexander Distribution.
Brodie Faint of Commercial Property Partners advised Fairfield School of Business and Donna Barnes of law firm Shakespeare Martineau acted for REI.
