An operations director known for his proactive approach and can-do attitude is celebrating his ten-year anniversary at Almeda Facilities Management.

Graham Bush joined the business in 2014 as a Contract Manager and in a decade has worked through three football World Cups, a global pandemic and five UK prime ministers.

Based at the Paintworks in Bristol, Almeda works with commercial landlords and property owners across the region to deliver total facilities management and maintenance services.

The family run business was founded in the 1980s by Gary George and his son Brady took over as managing director in 2015 at the age of 29.

On the anniversary celebration, Graham comments: “A lot has changed in ten years, but much is the same too. Like all companies, we’re always adapting to what is thrown at us but the focus we have on our customers and that desire to be the best we can has stayed true. I’m ready for the next ten years and excited to be part of a brilliant team of people all striving for a common goal.”

Brady and his senior management team have accumulated well over fifty years of experience between them, and Brady says that in a world where so much is fleeting and temporary, he’s proud to have such experience in the team.

He comments: “I believe that on average a person now has eleven different jobs in their lifetime but I’m an advocate of retaining the best talent and building up real industry expertise. Graham is an example of that, and he’ll be the last person to bang his own drum but the most deserving to be given credit for how he has added value both internally and externally.

“Graham quietly shows leadership, forensic industry knowledge and real passion for helping our customers and team, every working day.”

Almeda recently recorded its “best year of trading” since the company was founded.

Revenue at Almeda Facilities surpassed its previous record year and leadership at the company said they signed off its latest accounts with turnover around £7.3m and a healthy EBITDA.

Almeda works with business spanning multiple sectors from manufacturing through to commercial office environments; and the business employs 66 staff, with plans to continue recruiting as the company grows.
