Rotherhill Developments acquires Rugby industrial unit

Midlands property developer Rotherhill Developments has announced the acquisition of a 52,566 sq ft, high specification industrial building on Cosford Lane in Rugby.

Situated at Swift Valley Industrial Estate in the heart of the Golden Triangle, only two miles from Junction 1 of the M6 in Rugby, the property is being acquired from AW Precision, manufacturers of punch and die products, tooling accessories, and gas springs.

Local occupiers include DHL, Amazon, The Range, EVRI, and Britvic.

Commenting on the deal, Ed Jeffrey, Associate Director at Rotherhill says: “We have worked closely and collaboratively with the seller over a number of months. The purchase structure has been carefully considered to enable their seamless relocation from the premises and demonstrates our flexibility in accommodating the timeline and logistics involved.

“The property offers high quality industrial accommodation in a prime location with excellent accessibility, and we are confident it will generate significant interest. A full programme of refurbishment is proposed and early engagement from interested parties will enable us to tailor any works to suit.”

Will Torr of HEB acted on Rotherhill’s behalf and Tom Drake of Drake & Partners acted on behalf of the seller. Darby Keye and Avison Young have been appointed for onward marketing.

Rotherhill is an owner managed real estate investor and developer based in the Midlands.
