Stapleton’s Tyre Centres Ltd take warehouse unit at Estover, Plymouth

Acting on behalf of the building owners Pension fund, Monk & Partners have secured the letting of a warehouse, Unit D Armada Point, Estover, Plymouth.

Formerly occupied by Millbrook Furnishings Industries Ltd, who relocated to Langage, the unit was marketed For Sale or To Let by Plymouth commercial property agents Monk & Partners.

Comprising part of a single block built circa early 1980’s for Texas Instruments, the block was subsequently broken up into 4 units where unit D was located at the end and provided a ground floor area of approximately 7851 sq ft (729.42 sq m) with first floor offices and mezzanine storage of 4890 sq ft (454.24 sq m) together with a good size yard area beside and the long leasehold owners carried a refurbishment of the property following Millbrooks departure

John Slade of Monk & Partners commented, we had a number of interested parties in the unit both to purchase the long leasehold interest and occupational lease from the moment it went to market which culminated in a letting for a term of 10 years to national tyre distributors Stapleton’s Tyre Service Ltd as a tyre depot to service their existing and proposed Kwik Fit Tyre and Exhaust centres in the region.

This transaction illustrates, despite the economic issues we are currently experiencing, the continuing demand for industrial/warehouse premises in Plymouth which remains under supplied.
