Following on from the sale of the three new industrial units at Lister Court, Lister Close Plympton, Monk & Partners have secured as freehold sale of the final unit within the development.
Comprising a development carried out by Paramount Coaches Ltd, appointed agents Monk & Partners agreed sales to two local companies for their own occupation.
The second of these companies, High Voltage Power Services, bought 2 of the new units and very quickly realised they needed more space so they acquired the original older unit as well.
The older unit 1 provides an additional floor area of around 3500 sq ft within a unit which had undergone an external refurbishment including recladding the facade.
John Slade of Monk & Partners commented “It is great to see relatively new companies expanding and investing in their own properties, something we have seen a lot of in recent years. There is now a distinct lack of available units on the market either to purchase or rent and anything we do get coming to the market invariably receives a good level of interest and are sold or let very quickly. This seems to remain the case even since the recent economic turmoil and increased borrowing rates being experienced.”
