Urban Logistics REIT, advised jointly by Savills and M1 Agency, has let 1 Sabre Way in Eastern Industry in Peterborough to 2Excel Logistics Ltd.
The professional logistics and road haulage company has agreed to a new 15-year lease for the 56,385 sq ft warehouse unit. This latest deal marks 2Excel’s 15th warehouse acquisition and the third new site secured this year, as the firm continues its expansion drive.
Edward Gee, associate director in the business space team at Savills Peterborough, comments: “1 Sabre Way provides good quality warehouse space in a well-established commercial location to the east of Peterborough city centre. With excellent access to the wider motorway network via J17 of the A1(M), it is ideal for 2Excel logistics as the firm continues to expands its regional operations. Given the continued lack of supply for sizeable units in the area we were able to secure a good deal on behalf of our client.”
