CBRE secures new Glasgow office for power management company

Leading real estate advisor CBRE has announced it has secured a new office in Glasgow for Eaton Corporation, a global leader in power management solutions.

Relocating from Tay House on Bath Street, Eaton has taken a suite on the sixth floor, extending to 1,720 sq ft, at the newly refurbished Onyx on Bothwell Street.

Eaton’s mission is to improve the quality of life and the environment through the use of power management technologies and services. The company provides sustainable solutions that help its customers effectively manage electrical, hydraulic and mechanical power.

Onyx has recently been fully refurbished and benefits from a new entrance and reception area with a café, new VRF air conditioning and LED lighting, and dedicated wellness facilities on the basement level.

Hannah Lowe from CBRE said: “It is great news that we can announce that we have secured space in the newly refurbished Onyx building for Eaton after a thorough selection process. Eaton is a global player in the power sector and required a prestigious workplace for its relocated Glasgow office. I’m sure the team will find the new space in Onyx to be an ideal fit.”

Stefano Joannidis from Eaton added: “We are extremely pleased and excited to move into our new office space at Onyx. This will fit perfectly with our current requirements and will provide the right working environment for our Glasgow team.”

CBRE represented Eaton in the transaction whilst Ryden acted on behalf of the landlord, CEG.
