A leading UK provider of specialist risk focused workplace and property management solutions has established a new regional hub in South Yorkshire.

Bellrock Property & Facilities Management Limited is relocating its Sheffield and Wakefield operations into one 12,000 sq ft centre at Sovereign Court off Barrow Road in Sheffield in early 2022.

The company, which has its headquarters in Leicester, has 10 service offices nationally including bases in Warrington, Bristol, Bedford, Darlington and Northampton with the new South Yorkshire hub hosting its national resource scheduling function.

David Smith, CEO at Bellrock said: “This exciting relocation of our national scheduling hub comes as a result of our growth over the past few years, which has seen our MES division workforce increase to now employing over 250 engineers and 75 support staff.

“Our diverse service offering is a real strength for Bellrock in the current climate. As we drive forward our carbon neutral pledge, our new fit-for-purpose operational hub implements tangible sustainable improvements by way of LED lighting throughout and electric vehicle charging points for our electric / hybrid fleet.

“This will enable us to provide even higher levels of service delivery excellence for our customers, whilst giving us room for wider expansion through further acquisitions in the years ahead.”

The 12,000 sq ft office development recently underwent a £150,000 improvement plan by landlord Clarke Properties.

The refurbishment focussed on flexibility of space for occupiers including open plan floor plates easily adapted to accommodate employees working from the office base or from home, plus additional room for break out areas, and ample parking.

Harry Orwin-Allen from the Sheffield office of Knight Frank, which marketed the accommodation on Barrow Lane near Meadowhall, said: “Bellrock will occupy the whole building, both the ground floor and first floor which extends to around 12,000 sq ft with substantial car parking.

“The real driver for this building was quality specification, its location near J33 & 34 M1, and transport links for the bus, tram and train at Meadowhall.”
