Architects sign up to character offices at Westpoint

A distinctive barn conversion office on the edge of Exeter has been let to a growing local architects’ practice.

Acting on behalf of Devon County Agricultural Association, which owns the Devon County Showground at Westpoint, surveyors Stratton Creber Commercial have let Suite A at The Dairy Barn, which offers 1,263 sq.ft of offices on two levels. The office forms part of a cluster of barn conversions in the centre of the showground, where tenants include Horizon Consulting Engineers and SRTS Driver Training.

The new tenants, New Space Architecture, are Exeter-based and have taken the offices as part of their ongoing expansion. The asking rent was £21,000 per annum.

Jonathan Ling of Stratton Creber Commercial comments: “Westpoint Court offers a very marketable combination of character offices, excellent parking provision and good road links, and offices there are always in demand. As the office market comes out of lockdown restrictions, such offices are proving most resilient, as employers work harder than ever to make the office a place where people want to work.”
