Cushman & Wakefield makes key Specialist Markets appointments

Cushman & Wakefield has made three senior appointments in its UK Specialist Markets division which provides services to owners and operators of specialist assets.

Tom Nuttall will lead Cushman & Wakefield’s Healthcare, Life Sciences and Infrastructure teams which operate across Capital Markets, Valuation & Advisory and consultancy services. Nuttall, a Partner, has been with the firm for 16 years, specialising in the valuation of alternative and cashflow-based assets and large cross sector portfolios.

Tom Robinson has been appointed as Head of Healthcare. Robinson, also a Partner, has been with Cushman & Wakefield for five years and played a key role in establishing and growing its healthcare offering to a team of more than 20 providing valuation and transactional services for national and international companies across all aspects of the healthcare market. This includes care of the elderly, private hospitals, learning disability and mental health settings, specialist services, retirement villages, children’s day nurseries, GP practices and other primary care entities. Robinson will be supported by an experienced Healthcare leadership team which includes Sophia Sham in the Midlands and South West, Craig Lygate in Scotland and the North of England, Henry Harris in the South of England, Prina Shah in London, James Hanson who leads the national transactional service and David Kerr who leads the Central London healthcare markets service.

In addition, Amy King has been appointed Head of UK Retirement Living. The residential specialist will work closely with firm’s Healthcare and Residential teams in the UK, as well as its established senior living network in the US and Europe, to advise operators, investors, developers and lenders across the UK. The retirement living team covers the full spectrum of senior living accommodation including age-restricted housing, active adult living, independent living, assisted living and extra care housing.

Last week, Cushman & Wakefield announced the appointment of Adam Lowe from Assura Plc to drive its dedicated primary care service within the firm’s UK Healthcare team.
