SpectrumX are the latest occupier at Novus since Northwood Urban Logistics Acquisition

Northwood Urban Logistics is delighted to announce the latest letting at Novus, Knutsford following their recent purchase of the new-build warehouse development from Chancerygate. SpectrumX, a company with groundbreaking health-care solutions, has leased Unit 8, measuring 16,000 sq ft, on a new 10-year lease.

The Novus development, adjacent to the established Parkgate Estate, was completed in April 2021 and has already attracted a wide range of occupiers including Sytner, Oliver Valves and Wellness Trading. Only two units remain available with another under offer. Parkgate Industrial Estate is located 1.5 miles from Knutsford and is close to the M6 and M56 motorways and Manchester Airport.

Novus benefits from impressive sustainability credentials as the development has incorporated a number of green initiatives which will reduce both carbon emissions and occupational costs. The scheme boasts electric vehicle charging points, 15% roof lights for increased natural lighting, high performance insulation and secure cycle parking.

Richard Johnson, director UK Industrial and Logistics at JLL, said “We are very pleased to have agreed our first letting on behalf of Northwood Urban Logistics to SpectrumX, who required a high-quality business unit in which to manufacture their pharmaceutical, cosmetic and sanitisation products.”

Damien Hancox, CEO SpectrumX, said “Novus was the perfect fit for our business. We share, and are passionate about, the long term sustainability goals that have encompassed this development and look forward to being here for many years to come.”

JLL advised Northwood Urban Logistics with Williams Sillitoe acting as the joint letting agent. B8RE advised for SpectrumX.
