£3 million investment in Warwick

The Mayor of Warwick has given her seal of approval to a development which could bring around 200 jobs to the town.

Pure Offices, a leading national provider of serviced offices, is investing £3 million in the town after it bought nearly an acre of land at Tournament Fields just off junction 15 of the M40.

The company, which operates serviced offices in15 centres across England and Scotland, is in the process of constructing a 17,600 sq ft building and Elizabeth Higgins, Mayor of Warwick, dropped in to check on progress.

Roger Thomas, of Pure Offices, said he was pleased to welcome the Mayor to the site.

“It was a real privilege to welcome the Mayor to the site and we are delighted that she was able to take time out of her busy schedule to see how we are investing in the town.

“We are well underway with our construction of just under 70 offices of various sizes and the employment benefits to the town will be significant.

“The project is due to be completed by September 2013 and we are on course to meet that target.”

Pure Offices, based in Newbury, offers offices on flexible terms with low cost, high quality broadband and telephone services.

There are 67 offices, and 53 businesses employing more than 200 people at the Leamington complex. The success of Pure Leamington was the main reason Pure invested in the Warwick site.

Pure is part of Highcross – a property fund manager specialising in property investment and development opportunities.

Andrew Wall, of commercial property agents Wareing & Company which acts for Tournament Fields, also attended the visit.

“The investment of Pure Offices at Tournament Fields is a glowing endorsement of, not only the site, but the town of Warwick.
“It was pleasing that the Mayor recognised the importance of this investment and was able to see first-hand the progress of this development.

“Tournament Fields is well positioned to serve Warwick, Stratford and the surrounding areas and that fits perfectly with the needs of Pure Offices.”

Tournament Fields, owned and developed by Sackville Developments, is already home to Swiss sanitary ware company Geberit – which has its UK headquarters on the park – Taylor Wimpey, National Association of Estate Agents, and The Riding for the Disabled.
