Bell Park Industrial Estate in Plymouth fully let for the first time in 10 years

Vickery Holman Property Consultants have fully let Bell Park Industrial Estate for the first time in nearly 10 years and certainly the first time since Plymouth City Council purchased the estate in 2016. Since that date the Council has made a significant investment in the estate which enhanced the overall facility for the benefit of local businesses and undoubtedly contributed to the high occupancy rate.

Bell Park, located on the Newnham Industrial Estate in Plympton to the east of the city, provides 23 industrial units ranging in size from 1,400 sq ft to over 6,000 sq ft. There are a mix of uses and tenants on the site including Wales & West Utilities, Citysprint couriers, PL1 Events and many local businesses including recent lettings to Uplifto, RIBstore and Plymouth Car Sound.

The lease advisory team at Vickery Holman have undertaken a number of rent reviews and lease renewals throughout 2020, increasing the total rental income by nearly £55,000 in 12 months by bringing historic rents up in line with current market rental values.

‘We have a number of applicants looking for units such as these, so would welcome the opportunity to discuss letting or selling similar units in and around Plymouth.’ Commented Anna Simpson, Commercial Agent in Vickery Holman’s Plymouth office.
