Castlehouse appointed on £7m Teesside industrial scheme

Castlehouse Construction has been appointed to deliver three blocks of industrial units totalling 29,950 sq ft in Skelton, Teesside for developer Carnworth Estates. Works have begun on site to complete the £7M scheme with a proposed completion early Autumn.

The new trade development is situated off Pheasant Fields Lane in Skelton and is adjacent to the established Pheasant Fields Lane Retail Park which contains a number of high profile retail and fast food outlets including Asda, B&M, Sue Ryder, Greggs, Marstons and Aldi.

Castlehouse will complete a design and build fit-out of a circa 13,550 sq ft unit for MKM Building Supplies including the installation of a mezzanine floor within the warehouse.

In addition, the team will deliver a design and shell construction of two units comprising 9,000 sq ft for Howdens Joinery and Toolstation. Another block of two units totalling 7,000 sq ft are being constructed for Screwfix and Easy Bathrooms.

Rex Procter & Partners based in Leeds are the construction employer agents/quantity surveyors for the £7m project.
