MMX Retail builds for the future by expanding its retail and development team

MMX Retail has announced that three new members will be joining the retail and development team as the niche retail practice looks to continue to provide unrivalled expert advice to its landlord and retailer clients.

Rob Williams, Filippa Mudd and Henry Foreman have joined the consultancy from BNP Paribas Real Estate where they worked on a mix of institutional, developer and local authority owned high street, retail and leisure destinations. These included the likes of Cambridge, Camberley, Shrewsbury, Solihull, Newbury and Windsor as well as the regeneration of City Centres such as Coventry and Wokingham.

The trio have in excess of 50 years of urban regeneration, town centre development and leasing experience with a particular focus on advising numerous landlords and local authorities on redeveloping and repurposing existing assets, as well as working alongside investment teams in purchasing new ones. All three will be adding their expertise to MMX’s existing services which includes specialist advice ranging from leasing, redevelopment, acquisitions and disposals, to guidance on a huge variety of alternative uses for assets and how they can be repurposed and adapted to align with the changing needs of local communities.

Last year MMX celebrated its 10-year anniversary during which time it has had to adapt to significant changes in the sector including fundamental shifts in shopping and leisure patterns and currently the Covid-19 pandemic and its undoubted legacy. MMX’s market knowledge and insightful strategic advice has allowed it to ensure that its clients always remain one step ahead of the game.
