Horizon 38 welcomes its latest occupier

Cromwell Tools is the latest business to sign up to space at Horizon 38 in Bristol, expecting to open its new trade counter by February 2021.

Horizon 38 is one of the largest speculative commercial developments in the region, spanning 65 acres and features a wide range of industrial, logistics, trade, hotel and automotive occupiers. The area benefits from excellent connectivity via the A38 to Bristol city centre and the M5 at junction 16. This is in addition to the public transport links via Patchway and Bristol Parkway Train Stations and the new Metrobus route which will shortly be operational across the site.

Relocating from central Bristol, Cromwell Tools supplies industrial tools, equipment and services to the trade. The company has taken 7,400 sq ft of space in unit G4c at Horizon 38, on a 10-year lease.

James Short, Avison Young, who acted on behalf of the Landlord says, “Cromwell Tools is the latest company to join the growing number of high-quality businesses who have chosen Horizon 38. Not only do they recognise the importance of its location, but equally the value of the impressive range of occupiers within the development. Such is the appeal of these units, that only one now remains in the G4 terrace.

“Even within the uncertainty that the Covid:19 pandemic is causing, Horizon 38 has remained a scheme in demand, with continued interest from occupiers.”

Cromwell Tools Logistics, Distribution and Estates Director John Rogers comments, ”Cromwell Tools has been represented in Bristol for many years serving a well-established regional customer base. We identified Horizon 38 as a perfect location to relocate to, thanks to the ideal position and excellent road network providing great access to the South West and South Wales, from where we will provide the high standard of service our customers require and expect, to keep their operations running and their people safe.”

Horizon 38, developed by MSF Filton, is a joint venture between St Francis Group and iSec, funded by Ropemaker.

Avison Young and JLL acted on behalf of the landlord. Aitchison Raffety acted on behalf of the tenant.
