After 15 years at DTZ and Cushman & Wakefield, Steve Pike has left the company and set up his own UK-wide project and building consultancy business, Big Fish Building Consultancy Limited.
Based in Cardiff, the new company will focus on delivering specialist and personable building surveying, project services and IMS project monitoring for occupier and investor clients across the UK.
During his time at the firm, Mr Pike led some high profile fit-out projects for a leading accountancy firm at Callaghan Square and for a financial institution at the prestigious One Central Square. He has also delivered contract administration and employers agent roles on numerous repair, refurbishment, conversion and new build projects.
Mr Pike also specialises in IMS project monitoring for development lending institutions and the like.
Mr Pike said: “I have enjoyed my 15 years at DTZ / Cushman & Wakefield and being a part of the journey the firm has taken during that time. I have always been proud to work for the business and work alongside leading professional colleagues, clients and contractors.
“I am hugely proud and excited to have set up my national company in these particularly challenging times and I look forward to expanding and developing this Welsh based business in the years to come”.
