Award-winning Midlands developer Springbourne Homes has unveiled its plush, new headquarters in historic Market Bosworth, Leicestershire.

The four times ‘House Builder of the Year’ has moved into 2,000 sq ft of custom-designed office space in a sustainable, eco-friendly building at the picturesque Market Bosworth Marina in Carlton Road.

Springbourne actually sealed the deal for their impressive new HQ back in February but Covid restrictions have meant they couldn’t re-design, equip and open their new home until now.

Chairman Adrian Burr says it’s been worth the wait, though, with the firm’s new base superbly equipped with a boardroom, executive offices and a large open plan area incorporating a Design Centre for customers.

He said: “We’re delighted as our new office puts us in the heart of the community in an area which has always been a very important part of our business.

“It’s a tremendous location in a sustainable eco building alongside the Ashby canal with the benefit of panoramic, countryside views giving us a light, bright and quiet working environment.

“What’s more, our Hornsey Rise development is just five minutes away and our new, in-house design centre allows us to guide clients through all the important decisions concerning their new home.

“Buyers can go through all the options regarding fixtures and fittings, including their choice of kitchen and bathrooms, allowing them to enjoy a real input into the interior look and feel of the property.

“They can even enjoy a computer-generated, virtual tour of their new home before it’s even completed as we strive to make buying a Springbourne home a relaxed, enjoyable and involved experience which ensures the best possible outcome for our customers.”

The stylish, timber clad, eco office building sits in the heart of the Marina and uses sustainable energy to provide underfloor heating, with filtered canal water pumped through underfloor pipes to heat and cool the office.

Springbourne’s chief executive Lee Harris says sustainability and flexibility are also key elements of the company’s approach to building homes in the 21st century.

He explained: “Springbourne Homes is forging ahead with sustainable technology too, with our Hornsey Rise development incorporating air source heating, which runs at half of the cost of gas fired boilers

“Our homes are also carefully designed around the complex and changing needs of families and professionals, many of whom are changing their working behaviour in line with changing circumstances.

“I’m sure anyone who visits our Hornsey Rise site will immediately see that working from home has never looked so good.

“Similarly, our Marina office delivers us our own agile home where we can work flexibly from private offices or at open plan desks, where we can hold meetings in the boardroom, in comfy sofas or even alfresco on our decked balcony – all in the heart of our established customer base.”
