Dragons breathe new life into networking

A new networking collaboration has been established to help businesses in Newport get better connected.

Networking specialist Introbiz has joined forces with Newport Gwent Dragons to launch a joint networking venture at Rodney Parade in Newport. The partnership will enable the two organisations to bring together their impressive list of contacts to benefit businesses across Gwent.

As well as the opportunity to network with other Introbiz members, visitors and Dragons corporate members; attendees of the launch event will also have the opportunity to stay and watch the Dragons take on Connacht from the comfort of the David Watkins Premier Lounge.

Chris Brown, CEO, Newport Gwent Dragons, said: “We are very much looking forward to the first event and are pleased to have Introbiz on board, using their vast networking experiences for the benefit of the wider Newport business community.”

Introbiz founder, Tracey Jenkins, said: “We felt that Rodney Parade was a perfect networking venue and we’re thrilled to be working so closely with Newport Gwent Dragons. In terms of Gwent locations they don’t get more iconic than Rodney Parade and we’re looking forward to seeing new faces at the launch event.

“The way we run our events is unique in that we get a profile of our networkers beforehand and match them up with the people we think they would benefit from meeting, we have found that this has given us a very high success rate in the past and I’m sure it will be just as successful here.”

The Introbiz Gwent Dragons Business Club launch event will be held in Rodney Parade on 23rd November from 4-6pm. Tickets will be £20 for members and £25 for visitors, including a buffet and drinks. Tickets for the game, which kicks off at 7pm, are available for £15.

Introbiz was founded in 2009 by Tracey Jenkins and with over 150 members is one of south Wales’ biggest business networks.
