DTZ set to welcome its Graduate Class of 2011

DTZ is set to welcome twenty five graduates to its graduate development programme for 2011.  Fifteen have joined in London and a further eight will be based in regional offices, including Birmingham, Bristol, Cheltenham, Leeds and Manchester.   Two Chinese national graduates who studied in the UK will also work for DTZ in Hong Kong and mainland China.  The new recruits will join the firm on Monday 12 September.

Joining DTZ’s Cheltenham office, which provides rating services including rating appeals, rates reliefs and rates management and rates audits, is Jordan Fendick.

The UK-based recruits will complete their induction week at DTZ’s global headquarters in the City of London. This week will equip them with knowledge of the DTZ business and the industry and marks the start of a two-year training programme that will see the graduates gaining experience by rotating around a diverse range of departments.  On RICS qualification, the graduates will then work across DTZ’s business, in commercial, building and residential surveying, corporate real estate consulting, planning, economics and Investment Management.

John Forrester, Chief Executive, DTZ said: “I’m delighted that we are bringing significant new graduate talent into our firm as we do every year. Graduates are essential to the future success of our business and, for those that have the ambition, ability and attitude to succeed, this company and industry offers them a huge amount of opportunities.

“Our graduate programme is one of the best in the business. It provides leadership training and experience, as well as the nuts and bolts professional training that graduates need. A high proportion of our senior leadership joined the graduate scheme straight from university.”

Shan Nelson, Graduate Recruitment & Development Manager at DTZ added: “We are committed to helping graduates build on their strengths and develop their skills and knowledge to achieve their career goals. We have recruited to a range of disciplines, including commercial surveying, building surveying, development consulting, economics and corporate real estate consulting, which reflects the diversity of our business.”
