First phase of industrial units all sold

Vickery Holman are pleased to announce all four units in the first phase (named Harmony House) at plots 2 & 5 Treleigh Industrial Estate are now sold stc.

With building work having been completed on schedule at the end of July the purchasers of Units 1 & 2 have now moved in, with those of units 3 & 4 due to follow shortly.

The second phase, named Penrose House, is well underway with completion due in December 2011. Penrose House comprises a further 5 units ranging in size from 270 Sq M (2,906 Sq Ft) to 450 Sq M  (4,800 Sq Ft). Each unit comprises warehouse area, with ground and first floor offices benefitting from suspended ceilings and Cat 2 lighting. The warehouse areas have ground floors to 30KN/m2, roller shutter doors of 5m clear opening height and separate personnel doors.

The units have ground source heat pumps which feed underfloor heating within the carpeted office areas, resulting in reduced running costs. These units also qualify for a government “renewable heat incentive” which will be paid to the occupier and is expected to amount to circa £1500pa.
 
The project has received financial assistance from ERDF Convergence funding, the European Union economic regeneration programme for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. The Convergence programme aims to help build a stronger more diverse and sustainable economy in the local region.

The buildings incorporate “green energy” technology and a number of energy-saving and accessibilty features which contribute to their BREEAM “Excellent” rating. BREEAM is a widely recognised measure of a building’s environmental performance. It sets the standard for best practice in sustainable building design, construction and operation.

The units are located on the popular and convenient Treleigh Industrial Estate, just off the A30 at Redruth. Prices for the remaining units start from £220,000 or alternatively units are available to rent from just £17,500 per annum
