E-commerce giant takes 35,000 sq ft in £8million Liverpool development

Network Space has secured its first letting at Element, the new £8 million development at Alchemy Business Park in Knowsley.

A major online retailer has taken a 35,200 sq ft (3,270 sq m) unit on a 10-year lease. The development offers high quality warehouse space with ancillary office, amenity and generous secure yards along with superfast fibre broadband.

The Element scheme is located directly off the A580 within minutes of the M57 and at the heart of the 1,200-acre Knowsley Business Park, one of the largest employment areas in the UK and home to around 1,000 companies.

Simon Eaton, Development Manager at Network Space, said: “We are extremely proud of the finished product at Element and are delighted to welcome such a high calibre business to the site. It is testament to the exceptional location and quality of the scheme’s design and specification that ensured that Element remained the clear choice for this prestigious letting.

“We continue to see a lot of interest in the two remaining units at Element which both offer exceptional accommodation at one of the most prominent locations in the area. Together with our Agents, B8 and CBRE, we are offering virtual tours, as well as viewings following social distancing guidelines, for any businesses seeking new space.”

Element comprises three new detached industrial units with integral offices and extensive yards. The two remaining warehouses, ready for immediate occupation, offer 22,946 sq ft (2,132 sq m) and 45,586 sq ft (4,235 sq m). Addition land is also available for further phases including design and build opportunities for units up to 100,000 sq ft.

B8 Real Estate and CBRE are joint agents on the scheme.
