Retail property in Exmouth sold

Despite these uncertain times, Stratton Creber Commercial have announced that the freehold interest of the former Baileys outfitters, with a self contained maisonette, situated on the Parade in the centre of Exmouth, has been sold at a price of £350,000.

The buyer is planning to split the shop into two shops, in order to occupy one and offer the other to let.

Damian Cook, Director in the Exeter office of Stratton Creber Commercial, who specialises in retail property, comments:

“Naturally we have seen business affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, with many of the freehold sales and lettings we have in solicitors’ hands being put on hold; however, most people continue to plan for when we are eased out of the lockdown, when we will slowly get back to some normality and business will pick up again.

“We are expecting other sales and lettings to complete over the coming weeks and remain busy ensuring these continue to progress as smoothly as possible.”
