RJ Chartered Surveyors has successfully acted on behalf of its client, Day’s Property Holdings, to secure a new long-term letting of a prominent 6,000 sq ft industrial unit on Prydwen Road, Fforestfach, Swansea.
The property will become the new Swansea base for Halo Accident Repair Centre (ARC), supporting the company’s continued expansion across South Wales. Halo ARC has been actively seeking a suitable location in the Swansea area for some time, with the Prydwen Road unit providing the space and location required to establish its full accident repair offering.
The move marks a significant step in Halo ARC’s regional growth, with the Swansea operation becoming the company’s third site in South Wales, alongside its established Cardiff facility.
Halo ARC is a leading provider of accident repair services and operates a network of 39 locations across the UK, offering bodywork and paint repair services, as part of the IRS Group, one of Europe’s largest automotive repair networks, Halo combines strong local market presence with the expertise and scale of a pan-European organisation.
Liam Slater, Agency Director at RJ Chartered Surveyors, said: “We are delighted to have secured this long-term letting on behalf of Day’s Property Holdings. The unit attracted strong interest, and it was fantastic to work with Halo ARC, who had been actively searching for the right opportunity in Swansea for some time.
“Prydwen Road provides Halo ARC with an excellent location from which to expand its presence across South Wales, and we are confident the property will be an ideal fit for its operational requirements. This transaction also demonstrates the continued demand we are seeing for good-quality industrial accommodation in the Swansea area.”
Mike McCarry, Managing Director of Day’s Property Holdings, added: “We are very pleased to welcome Halo ARC to Prydwen Road. Securing a strong, long-term occupier for the property is an excellent outcome, and Halo ARC’s decision to establish its Swansea operation here is a positive endorsement of both the building and the location.
“We would like to thank RJ Chartered Surveyors for their work in bringing the transaction to a successful conclusion, and we look forward to seeing Halo ARC establish and grow its presence at the site.”
Harry Abraham, Managing Director at Halo ARC, said: “We have been actively looking for the right site in Swansea and we are delighted to have secured this property on Prydwen Road.
“The new facility gives us an excellent platform to bring our accident repair services to Swansea and the surrounding area. Expanding into Swansea is an important step for Halo and further strengthens our presence across South Wales, building on the success of our existing Cardiff and Newport operations. We are looking forward to getting established and serving customers and partners across the region.”
The new Swansea facility represents the next stage in Halo ARC’s continued growth and will further strengthen the company’s capacity to serve customers across South Wales.
