Galbraith has announced the expansion of its Building Consultancy and Project Management Team with four new appointments, further strengthening the firm’s expertise and capacity to support clients across Scotland and the rest of the UK.
Richard Henderson, Ross Blyth, Adam Johnston and Lewis Thomson have been recruited in response to the growing workload being handled by the team, particularly in Perthshire and the central belt of Scotland.
Richard Henderson has joined as a Director in Stirling. With 30 years of experience in rural Building Surveying throughout Scotland and England, Richard will lead the Stirling Building Consultancy team and play a key role in developing Galbraith’s offering to rural clients and managed estates. This will also allow the firm to meet demand in the south west of Scotland, where Galbraith already has a strong presence.
Ross Blyth has also joined as an Associate in the Building Consultancy team, based out of the Perth office. Ross has over 12 years of experience in the sector and will further develop the firm’s services to clients in Perthshire and the north east of Scotland.
Adam Johnston has also started in the Stirling office as a Building Surveyor. This will further bolster the team and Galbraith’s offering to rural clients. With eight years of experience, Adam has particular expertise in overseeing project delivery and day-to-day maintenance and repair work on rural estates.
In addition, Lewis Thomson has joined the Edinburgh team as a Graduate Building Surveyor. Having worked in a commercial practice for four years, Lewis will assist on a wide range of projects and continue his professional training, with the support of Galbraith.
Peter Scott Aiton, Head of Building Consultancy at Galbraith, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Richard, Ross, Adam and Lewis to the team. Their appointments mark an exciting period of growth for Galbraith’s Building Consultancy service, enabling us to provide expert advice and project management to an ever-broader range of clients. Richard brings a wealth of experience and leadership, while Adam and Lewis will add energy and new perspectives to our Stirling and Edinburgh offices. The introduction of Ross into the Perth office builds on the success to date and the team’s geographical reach. Together they will further strengthen our capacity to serve clients across Scotland and throughout the UK.”
