Fast growing Midlands developer and investor Westbeech Group has acquired another office building on Pendeford Business Park, Wolverhampton, to allow for continuing expansion.
Westbeech has purchased the 2,500 sq ft No. 3 Nightingale Place to enable the team to grow. The firm currently employs seven head office staff and supports 30 construction jobs which is expected to increase to 40 in the coming year.
Ian Houghton, managing director of Westbeech Group, said: “Refurbishment is already well underway, and we will be fully operational by 1 January 2026.”
The company HQ is in nearby No. 7 Nightingale Place on Pendeford Business Park.
Westbeech Group currently owns over 300,000 sq ft of commercial space in Birmingham and the Black Country and is investing in sites for new industrial and commercial buildings.
It also has a residential division which acquires sites and builds from one home to 30 for the discerning buyer looking for a luxury family home.
Early in 2025, the company launched Nest Storage, a hi-tech driven solution to temporary and long term storage needs and is currently in negotiations for further sites across the Midlands. Due to increasing demand, Westbeech recently took the decision to expand available space at its first site in Bloxwich by 50%.
Other current projects include The Stamp Works, a gated community of five 4 and 5 bedroom homes on a site which was formerly the home of The Bridgnorth Stamp Company Ltd.
Westbeech has also acquired another Shropshire site for residential development. The 0.4 acre on land to the rear of Beechcroft in Vicarage Close, Highley, Bridgnorth site has full planning permission for two bungalows and a detached property.
Work started in Autumn 2025 and is scheduled for completion in Summer 2025.
The company continues to make strategic sales, where appropriate, and has placed Unit 17, Strawberry Lane, Willenhall, a 4,726 sq ft unit on a site of approximately 0.16 acres, on the market for offers based on £625,000. The decision to sell Unit 17 follows the successful sale earlier this year of Unit 19, Strawberry Lane.
Westbeech has acquired No. 3 Nightingale Place from a private investor who was represented by agents Tromans.
Law firm FBC Manby Bowdler acted for Westbeech Group and the seller was advised by Trethowans.
