A Leicester recruitment firm is set for expansion after snapping up new premises. Precision Recruitment has bought the 5,500 sq ft Vivitar House at Meridian Business Park.
The firm was set up in 2004, specialising in hard to find candidates within the engineering, technical construction and sales industries.
But it has quickly grown, today employing 16 people in Leicester and working with clients throughout the UK and beyond. It has relocated from York Street in the city centre to Meridian Business Park, a hub for professional services firms in the city.
The firm’s recruitment director, Phil Walker, said: “I have been hoping to find larger premises in the area for some time so when I saw Vivitar House on the market I saw it as a fantastic opportunity to take Precision forward offering expansion and a high quality environment for staff, clients and candidates alike.
The property deal was secured by Peter Doleman, director at Leicester property agency Innes England who acted on behalf of Jacobs Pension Scheme. He said: “I am delighted with the result we have achieved for our client. The sale offered a rare chance to purchase accommodation on Meridian and, with the building being such high quality, enabled Precision to relocate quickly.
“We are seeing a growing confidence within the out of town office market. This factor combined with deals for good quality premises such as Vivitar House are leading to an ever decreasing pool of stock. This is to the extent that there is now a shortage of good quality self-contained buildings, which must bode well for landlords with such accommodation.”
