Senior Planner (South Yorkshire)

A great opportunity has arisen for a Senior Town Planner to join an expanding consultancy in South Yorkshire. This firm have an excellent reputation in the market and you will be joining a large, well established team of friendly and supportive professionals.

We are looking for candidates with at least 2-3 years’ experience gained either in another consultancy or local authority setting. You will hold a master’s degree in a Town Planning and ideally be MRTPI qualified or working towards submission. This role offers the chance to work on a broad spectrum of projects including residential, mixed-use and commercial schemes. Your duties will include (but are not limited to); preparing and submitting planning applications, writing planning statements, local plan representation and appeal work, preparing site appraisals, research and site visits with the supervision of senior members of staff. You should have excellent report writing skills; be confident in client facing situations; be driven, conscientious and keen to learn as well as having strong communication and presentation skills.
