Worcestershire property agent John Truslove has appointed one of its experienced staff to a new senior position to handle its growing property management division.

Nina Bott, who has worked at the Redditch-based firm for 11 years, has been appointed as property manager and now looks after more than 200 properties.

Her promotion comes as a result of her vast experience at handling the relationships between John Truslove’s numerous residential and commercial landlords and tenants.

She joined the company as an administration assistant and stand-in PA in 2007, increasingly taking on more roles over the years, and becoming increasingly adept at solving property management issues.

Miss Bott said: “I’m delighted to have been given the extra responsibility of looking after our growing number of managed properties.

“This is a job I’ve grown into over the last few years, getting to know both our clients, the properties within the portfolios and their tenants.

“With a friendly but firm approach you get to understand exactly what tenants do and need, so you know exactly how to respond if there’s a problem, quickly and effectively solving any hitches.

Miss Bott was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, in 1975 and returned to her parents’ original home in Redditch when she was aged just 18 months old.

She was schooled locally and went on to work for a newspaper publisher before joining John Truslove in 2007.

Ben Truslove, director at John Truslove, said: “Nina has always been on the ball, with a great eye for detail and a natural ability to build client relationships, largely founded on a strong mutual respect.

“As our property management portfolio has grown significantly, so has Nina’s experience and knowledge, and she fully deserves this promotion to help the business grow further.

“We are now focusing more of our property management growth in the commercial sector and feel confident that Nina’s skillset will help us continue to expand successfully.”
