Castlehouse completes fully occupied Sticker Lane, Bradford

Leeds-based Castlehouse Construction has completed a £2.5m mixed use community scheme in West Yorkshire, with a 13,864 sq ft Care Home facility and 5,016 sq ft Coffee Shop at the heart of the Sticker Lane, Bradford development.  The scheme, which includes 2,508 sq ft of rented office space above the coffee shop, is now fully occupied.

The project was carried out on behalf of Anlaby Office Cleaning Services Ltd and was rolled out in two phases. Phase II included the construction of a new two level building incorporating a drive thru’ Java Joe’s coffee shop with rented office space above, while Phase III involved the construction of a new detached three storey, 28-bed bed wing of the Gateway Extra Care Home.

The Gateway Extra Care Home delivers holistic care services for people with a range of needs and the new Java Joe’s is open for residents, office staff and the general public alike.

Although the two phases ran concurrently, the coffee shop and office space was handed over to the client in October 2016 in preparation for its opening.   Since opening, the property has enjoyed continuous letting success and is now fully occupied.

Frank Kofler, Director of Castlehouse Construction, said;

“We are delighted by the success of this mixed use community scheme.  The new coffee shop provides a welcome environment for residents, visitors and the local community, while the additional wing of the Care Home offers a spacious and comfortable setting for residents.

“The newly created offices provide quality space for businesses in the local community and we are pleased to confirm its full occupancy at this early stage,” continued Frank Kofler.
