Conveyor belt firm rolls on to Taurus Park

The industrial team at property advisor JLL has let a 4,988 sq ft unit to conveyor belt manufacturer Habasit UK at Taurus Park, Warrington, on behalf of LaSalle Investment Management.

The business has agreed a 10-year lease at the 133,000 sq ft scheme, relocating from its current site in Leigh.

The 13-unit development is located on Europa Boulevard within Gemini Business Park. Habasit joins other occupiers including civil engineering contractor BAM Nuttall, freight solutions firm GFS, and hydraulics specialists KYB at Taurus Park. The deal leaves only one 7,576 sq ft unit on the market.

Robert Kos, surveyor at JLL, said: “Warrington is a popular base for occupiers wanting a location with strong transport links to Liverpool and Manchester, as well as the rest of the country.

“Taurus Park succeeds in attracting this demand through its high-quality space, which sits less than a mile to junctions eight and nine of the M62. With only one unit vacant, it shows the healthy demand for industrial space in the North West.”

JLL and Knight Frank are joint agents on the scheme.
