Hill Dickinson expands property team with key hires

Hill Dickinson has announced a series of key property team appointments to its Manchester office bringing the total headcount across the North West to 71. It follows a particularly successful year for the property team which has seen a 28% growth in turnover in the last twelve months and a move from tier 4 to tier 3 in Legal 500 rankings.

Respected property lawyer Darren Hamer has joined as a partner from DWF following the recent arrival of senior associate David Herbert who joined from Pinsent Masons.

Darren will be working with investors dealing with all their requirements across their real estate portfolios including sales and purchases, lettings and provision of advice on other management issues. David’s role will be helping to develop the team’s strong property occupier practice.

The team has also welcomed, Alistair Wallworth and Awais Allam as associates and Jon Pearson- Basudev who runs the newly created due diligence and post-completion teams. Aisha Goulbourne, Ciaran Rafferty and Laura Carroll have also been appointed to the due diligence, post completion and property finance teams as paralegals bringing the total count in Manchester to 18 with 53 people servicing the Liverpool property team.

The additions to the team will see Hill Dickinson’s due diligence team service both the Liverpool and London markets from October 2016.
